Ferrand Family Crisp

I'm not encouraging anyone to really try this recipe. It just kind of happened, so proceed at your own risk:

Set oven to 350

Peel, slice and core 5 medium-sized apples or so
Mix in bowl with :

1/4 cup water
1 TB flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar

Pour in baking dish.

Mix together:

1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 or 3 handfuls of water

Drop over apple mixture

Drizzle with caramel (we had the syrup-kind used for ice cream sundaes)

Bake for an hour (or around there)

* This will not get golden
* This will be very sweet, but not too sweet
* This probably has a gazillion calories, and 20 lbs of fat per serving

But it sure is good. :p

Based on this recipe right here but did the best with what we had on hand. If nothing else, it was fun.
